I have a lot of old DVDs created by Stomp Backup MyPC around the year 2000. Will your new version run on Win10 and successfully handle these older discs?

It's likely that the newer version of Stomp Backup MyPC will be able to handle the older discs, but it's not guaranteed. It's best to check with the software manufacturer or try it out for yourself.
Does the system state what is listed in my backup file, like does it actually have the MBR and partition table in it? If so, can I reload them only? This information will help me decide what steps I need to take next. Thanks in advance.

The answer is no because system state saves files from the Windows directory. Try to boot the PC with Windows install disc and access the recovery console/menu. Use the Startup option and the error will be fixed automatically by Windows Recovery. It works in XP, Vista, and 7.
I'm getting a "Catalog error" on the application startup. It tells me to rebuild, but if I click Yes, nothing happens. Also, I can't access my backups. Can you help?

In order to fix the issue, I suggest you remove the program from your computer (Control Panel > Uninstall a program) and run a registry cleaner to make sure that there are no leftover registry keys in your system. After that, reboot your computer, install the program again and and you should be able to open the backups.
